University of Montana Offerings
The University of Montana is a regionally accredited
university offering associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees
and master’s degrees along with technical certificates and
doctoral degrees. While most of the students attending The
University of Montana are Montana residents there are many
students from other states and even countries.
Locally, The University of Montana is famous for it’s sport
teams the “Grizzlies”, for men’s sports or the “Lady Griz”,
for women’s sports. Students at the University of Montana
receive a high-quality, well-rounded education and training
for professional careers in the University’s three colleges
– arts and sciences, forestry and conservation, and
technology. The University of Montana has six schools –
journalism, law, business, education, pharmacy and the fine

The University of Montana Men's The Grizzlies football,
basketball, indoor and outdoor track, cross country and
tennis. The University of Montana Women's Lady Griz
volleyball, basketball, indoor and outdoor track,
cross-country, tennis, golf and soccer.
The University of Montana athletic conference is the Big Sky
Conference, National Collegiate Athletic Association,
Division I and I-AA football.
