Glasgow
is a small northern Montana community with an approximate population of
3,500. Glasgow is on what Montanans call the
"highline" a 500 mile stretch of Route 2 along the
top of the State of Montana. Glasglow is also home
to Fort Peck Dam and massive Fort Peck Lake. |

| |
Glasgow does have an Amtrak station, the Amtrak Empire
Builder rail line. During construction the Fort Peck Dam
actually failed as a result of unexpectedly low shear
strength in bentonite clay seams beneath the dam.
