  Glasgow Montana

Glasgow is a small northern Montana community with an approximate population of 3,500. Glasgow is on what Montanans call the "highline" a 500 mile stretch of Route 2 along the top of the State of Montana. Glasglow is also home to Fort Peck Dam and massive Fort Peck Lake.

Glasgow does have an Amtrak station, the Amtrak Empire Builder rail line. During construction the Fort Peck Dam actually failed as a result of unexpectedly low shear strength in bentonite clay seams beneath the dam.
